Important notice regarding arrival time

Customers must check in at the Mission Control desk in our reception on or before the stated ‘Arrival Time’ on their booking. We are extremely busy on Saturdays and Sundays. In order to prevent delays for other customer’s parties, late arrivals may not be able to participate in their game session. Please be aware refunds will not be given.

Where is my booking confirmation?

Laser Quest will always email your booking confirmation to you, however sometimes you may not receive it.

Sometimes this will be due to the setup of your email Spam filter. Please check this first and if it is still absent please give us a call so that we can check we have correctly recorded your details.

What happens when we get there? How does it all work?

When you arrive you need to check in at Mission Control; every player must choose a game name (up to 9 characters). You will then be instructed to enter the airlock where you will have the game objectives and safety rules explained to you by a staff member. Once you have been briefed and kitted up in your laser packs it’s time to enter the arena and let the game commence!

How do the hosted birthday parties work?

You can sit back and relax with our new hosted party packages. Your personal host will meet you on arrival and look after you for the duration of your visit. 🙂 Our aim is to give our Birthday Guest of Honour a day to remember and to make the parent’s visit hassle free. We’ll even clear up the mess afterwards!

Our Hosted Birthday packages are available 7 days a week.

This package takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes from your initial arrival time.

Please be aware that unless you have booked an exclusive Birthday adventure, your party may be playing with other groups of various ages.

How old do you have to be to play?

Owing to the nature of the game and size of the equipment, all players must be at least 7 years old and over 1.1m in height.

How long does a game session last?

Each game session lasts 20 minutes, which includes 5 minutes briefing time.

Is Laser Quest safe?

Laser Quest is completely safe providing the safety rules are followed; players are briefed on the safety rules, and Laser Quest staff members are on hand to supervise the games.

How do I book?

Booking is easy, simply click here to book your games and follow the online instructions. Please note, bookings made in person or by telephone will be subject to a booking fee.

What happens if fewer players turn up on the day?

To ensure booking availability is fair to all our customers, we do not offer any refunds for no shows.

Can I reschedule my booking?

Yes, with the excpetion of VALUE games, you can reschedule your original booking subject to payment of a rescheduling fee. If you give 7 days’ notice then this is £2.99*. Changes can be made with less than 7 days’ notice upon payment of a £12.99* rescheulding fee. All rescheduled dates must be within 3 months of the original booking. *Fees correct as of 09/09/17.

Is there a viewing area?

We have a Viewing Gallery so you can grab a sneak peak of our amazing game arena. Non-participants are welcome to watch all the action as it happens.

Respect

Please observe the game’s safety rules outlined during the briefing. We advise dark, comfortable clothes and flat shoes with a sole that grips.

  • NO LYING OR CROUCHING DOWN
  • SPORTING BEHAVIOUR

Ensure that only flat shoes with a sole that grips are worn. Trainers, plimsolls and other similar footwear is recommended.

Where is the nearest place to park?

We have our own customer car park on site; however please allow extra time to find a parking place during peak periods.

Do you provide party bags?

We do not provide party bags. If you would like to bring you own party bags please let your Party Host know on arrival.

What food do you offer?

We have a selection of confectionery and beverages available to purchase. We ask that customers please refrain from bringing in food purchased outside our venue.

Can I bring a birthday cake?

Customers who have booked one of our hosted parties are welcome to bring in a cake and candles, and we will set up the candles, lead the Happy Birthday song and even cut it up afterwards.

Other customers may bring in cakes however, please be aware we do not permit customer use of knives of any kind in general public areas of our venue, for obvious reasons.

Where do I download Laser Quest invitations?

A Laser Quest themed party invitation download PDF is emailed to you when you book your party.
